(Source: WereBlog)According to People’s Daily Online, Xie Xiping has been caring for her husband Xu Xihan since he was paralyzed in a mining accident in 2002. Xu was working in a mine in Henan province when a boulder hit him and became paralyzed from the waist down. He was paid 40,000 yuan (£4,137) as compensation. Xu Xihan and Xie Xiping married in 1996 and had a daughter the following year.
